Finding beauty when you least expect it (part 2)

Recently I wrote about a flower I found in my backyard that I didn’t plant and it’s appearance and beauty definately brightened up my day. 

Today I found another flower that I wasn’t expecting. The torch ginger. 

This magnificent flower bloomed out of nowhere. 
This is a wild flower that can grow up to 20ft.! One amazing fact about this flower is that the unopened buds can be eaten and is said to be very flavorful!

It was quite wonderful to see this blossom in my garden.

  1. It’s such a beautiful flower, would love it if i could have it in my garden too! We have lilies in our garden that i planted these year and they are just starting to bloom :3 , kinda between pink and red a really nice deep colour.
